Nano clothing was created in 2004 by Patricia Pienkowski a Polish born, American schooled fashion designer and Howard Balch a product designer originally from Minneapolis. Their experiences, one working in design and manufacturing for children’s companies and the other in consumer product design including juvenile and baby products, bring a “new” approach to children’s clothing design.
Their style, love of art, imagination, and creativity is visible in every single piece of the collection. Nano’s collection is sophisticated in feel, simple in style and whimsically curious in attitude. It borrows ideas from adult world, yet is far more daring, more creative and imaginative.
