Glow in the Dark Bubbles

Summer is quickly approaching, which means long days and late nights. We love to spend as much time as we can outdoors in the summer. Life in the hot SoCal desert can mean a lot of very hot afternoons retreating to pools or air conditioning, however, we love to escape back outside as the weather cools and the sun goes down. Seashell Painting

Are you looking for some simple and fun summer crafts to do at home with your kids? I love simple activities that allow the kids to be creative and have fun without getting bogged down with too many rules and restrictions. Southern Californians have reported seeing tens of thousands more butterflies than in recent years. The butterflies have made spring feel as if it is truly here to stay in Southern California. Their vibrant colors are brightening our dreary skies and giving us hope...

End of Summer Party!!

August is coming to a close and soon Autumn will be here blowing its cool winds and shorter days our way. We decided to seize the moment and have one last blow out an end-of-summer party. We have a projector and the new Avengers just came out on Blu-ray so the kids wanted to have a movie night outdoors so they could lounge with friends on the grass and play on the swing set while watching a movie. I wanted to do some fun and delicious treats so I did a little Pinterest stalking and found this incredible Italian Soda...
