We have all heard that sentence in our households, “There is nothing to eat!” Even when we have tons of snacks available in both the refrigerator and the pantry. Yet our kids never seem to believe us. Well no more. Now you can make sure there are plenty of things for them to snack on by creating a great little organizer of snacks in the fridge and the pantry. Every time your kids come looking for something to eat they can look directly in the organizers and find a snack amidst the many different pre-made snacks waiting for them. All it takes is a little planning, some plastic baggies, a little plastic basket, and some yummy food.

By keeping all of your snacks together and ready for snacking in these pre-made packages you are not only ensuring your own sanity when your kids get hungry you are also ensuring the portions and types of snacks they are eating. No more worrying that your kids are eating too much junk. Just arrange some healthy and yummy pre-made packages of their snacks and they can easily get to them whenever they need them. This is a perfect idea for any age group from toddlers to teens. Each of your kids will benefit from this new organizational approach to snacking.

What You Need:

2 Small Plastic Baskets or Foldable Storage Bins (one for the fridge and one for the pantry)

2 Labels (label the baskets or bins so your kids know exactly why they are there)

What to do:

1. Simply label each basket or bin with a clearly legible label of “Snacks.”
