Back-to-School Lunches
Children everywhere are back to school this month. That means parents everywhere are back to making lunches and arguing over homework. We may not be able to help with the homework, but we can help you come up with some new ideas that will make lunch-packing a little less stressful.
PBJ Burrito: My son loves PBJ. He even does a little song and dances about it when he opens his lunch every day. I love giving him what he wants, but I hate to give him the same thing every day. This option makes his lunch a little different, but it still supplies his favorite ingredients.
Homemade Lunchables: My daughter loves Lunchables, but I hate buying them. This option allows me to place items in her lunch that are a little healthier but still cater to the types of food she likes.
Mac n Cheese: Since I am gluten-free we do not consume Mac n Cheese much at home. By making a box and packing it in thermoses for my kids they can still enjoy their favorite without it interfering too much in my meals. It also packs easily and tastes good whether it is warm or cold.
