Homemade Cherry Icee

Are your kids already finished with school? We finish this week. This means that we will already be enjoying the slower pace of summertime. While mommy and daddy continue to work all summer and the kids go to day camp we try to maintain some sort of slower routine when it comes to summer. There is no homework and we continue our sports, but the days are longer and we have a little more time to enjoy them.

One of the ways we like to celebrate the end of school is with a sweet treat. We love icees, frozen yogurt, and popsicles. This year we are going with Icees. Normally we run out and buy some yummy ones, but the shop that sold them near us moved and we are now looking to create them at home so we don't have to wait so long to enjoy them.
