I love the holidays. During the holidays we try to forget about the boring, the ugly, the blasé. We dress everything up, from our houses, to our offices, to ourselves! I love that once a year I get to see my entire family dressed up in their fancy clothes looking amazing and smiling. It may be staged, but it reminds me every year that despite how busy, chaotic, loud, and difficult the days may be we have the choice to make them beautiful, to make them hopeful, positive, and better! It is my favorite time of year.
